Cactus Window

I created the window installation for the new Rare Device store in Noe Valley! I had the idea of filling it with decorative cactus pinatas. Here’s a peak at the window, but please check out the full post here!

I was beyond thrilled when photographer, Sarah Deragon, took some up-close photos of my window cacti. I wanted to share some of my favorites (so hard to choose!) to show some more detailed shots of what’s hanging in the Rare Device//Noe Valley window!

Thank you SO much Sarah, for the beautiful photos! You are magic! And thank you Rare Device for being so cool and rolling with my window ideas!!

It’s been so quiet on here, eek.

I’ve been really enjoying my new job. Not only is it just a wonderful work environment, but it’s also allowed me to learn so much about wholesale and product-based branding. I feel very right-time/right-place, right now.

Here’s a few snaps of what’s been going on here:

Roos and I finally took the plunge and bought a fancy epson printer! I love it! I can’t wait to stock-up on beautiful printing paper. // I got my flower crown pug and teacups screen printed by the amazing ALL GOLD // My job is the best!! Thank you ZELMA ROSE for packaging my cross-stitch heart necklace SO beautifully (and thank you Kehau for the dreamy-lit photo!) // I played with a lot of crystal/geode pattern ideas. I’m sure we’ll see more of these… // I’m embroidering beautiful sounding words onto watercolor paper. Super excited about this, but it’s pretty slow. This is a snippet of the word “Susurrus” // A tiny fair I did at the end of March. Looking at my fellow crafty girls, GREEN HORSE CRAFT and FIBER FLORIST, I need to step up my table decoration! // Happy Mother’s Day Mom!

Etsy love: Spring Dream

April is here! Considering my rampant love for everything floral, Spring is totally my season! Here’s some lovely spring things I’ve found while perusing etsy lately:

Holiday Craft Fair

Oh man, this week has been crazy busy! But also productive, and that’s always the best. This past Saturday I participated in the CCA Holiday Craft Fair with my good friend and crafty soul mate, Mary.

I sold my flower crowns and some hand-stitched fox ornaments. Mary sold her beautiful crochet work and some cute Star Wars ornaments. We shared a table and it was super colorful and adorable! I’m really happy with how it went! This was my first time selling at CCA (did I mention I’m an alumni?) and I had a great time. I met some really lovely people, fellow crafters especially! Here are some pictures from the fair!

I was nervous that my flower crowns might be too summery for this fair, but they sold pretty well! Though I did intentionally only bring my red, black, and gold ones. Can’t get too flower child!

I had stayed up really late the night before and had some pre-fair antsyness going on, so Roos was sweet enough to buy me a mimosa while I did some last minute stitching! The sweetest! Best way to start a craft fair day!

Balcony Garden

I love hanging out with crafty friends! Mary is a crazy talented artist who is heavily focused on crochet work. I hope to share some of these creations soon, but I’d like to introduce a part of her home first. I love seeing creative spaces and how other artists nest. I have never been that great at nesting (it took me a whole year to actually put anything interesting up on my walls) but Mary has always been so good at it!! This girl has SO much stuff, and they’re all amazing! I spend so much time going over her countless vintage knick-knacks, thrifted art collection, family photographs, and her own handmade work. Mary recently moved to a new place with her boyfriend and her balcony has become the new home for her succulents! I had to take several photos.
