I’ve cranked out a good bundle of baby felt cacti. I’ll be bringing some to the CCA Holiday Fair this Saturday, November 22nd and I’m selling some on my etsy. PS- I gave them names:
// Gossamer //
// Pink Baby //
// Sunflower //
// Little Buds //
// Happy Monster //
I’m also planning on bringing some flower crowns (surprised right?) , some art prints, pug totes, more cat bobbi pins and brooches, and hopefully some ornaments! Trying to pull off 4 holiday windows and a craft fair this month, eek (!)
More PS- Pictured in above pictures is my gold washi tape wall! I think it’s the happiest!
So that time I did two Halloween windows and never talked about them. Here we go!
These ghosts!!! I know, crazy spooky scary. This was my Halloween window for the Rare Device//Noe Valley store. It had to be done rather quickly, so I stitched up these ghosties. I kept the gold diamonds that were up with the Cactus window because, why not, they’re cool. I like this last photo, it looks like they’re having a party and they”re singing.
I hung up my original creepy girl drawings at the Divisadero store. It was probably the simplest installation I’ve done, but it still took me forever. (People who install quickly, so impressed with you.) I also printed up some postcard sets and 8 x 10 prints.
I’ve been living in my current house for about three years, which means it’s taken me three years to start decorating, nesting, and what not. I guess I didn’t think we’d be in this house so long, or because I had renter-paranoia and didn’t want to invest in painting or putting up shelves. But like I said, three years. It’s time.
This house is too big to take on all at once, so I’ve been decorating one corner at a time. I wanted to share my first corner that I’ve been working on: The corner of my bedroom.
Picture Frames: Thrifted // Necklace Dispay: Made by me // Night Stand and Rug: IKEA // Vanity Chair: Sidewalk Sale (that I spray painted gold) // Mirror: ROSS (that I also spray painted gold) // Yellow Flower: Fiber Florist // Fox Letter Opener: Mystery Mister // Bedside Book Holder: DIY // Art Prints and Cards: Yelena Bryksenkova, Colpa Press, Rifle Paper Co., Satchel & Sage, People I’ve Loved , Vintage and thrifted finds
I’ve been making a small succulent garden in the corners of my kitchen nook. It’s been so fun finding homes for all my plants and adding details to the space. I’m especially interested in using different kinds of ceramics as planters. I’ve already thrifted a few (soo happy!) but I’m so tempted to just buy some of these handmade beauties.

April is here! Considering my rampant love for everything floral, Spring is totally my season! Here’s some lovely spring things I’ve found while perusing etsy lately:
This sweet painting is the prettiest /// I need vintage botanical prints everywhere please!
Love these pretty temporary tattoos. (Brilliant for testing out placement!)
Peachy Geometric pillow cover /// Antique butterfly chart from the early 1900’s
My girl Vivian makes the most beautiful felt floral garlands and bouquets.
Are ya’ll dreaming up anything new for spring? My home, painting, and craft ideas are just non-stop right now. It’s totally the season for new beginnings!
I just finished putting up the new Spring window for Story! I revamped my flower curtains and added pops up fresh color. It was really important to me to be able to see this installation inside and outside through the window. So excited!
Alright, I know it’s not quite February but it’s close enough to start bombarding ya’ll with lots and lots of hearts right? I recently dressed the Story window for February/Valentines, and my statement creation was a heart pinata! Here’s some progress pics of how it was done:
I’m so happy with how it came out! Given enough time, cardboard, and tape…I think I could go pinata crazy! Hoping to squeeze in a few more (little) valentine’s day inspired pinatas soon!
